OKTO is showing its dedication to the UK market by hiring Rob Peché

OKTO, a global fintech leader and winner of the SBC Award for Mobile Payment Solution of the Year in December, has shown its dedication to the UK market by hiring Rob Peché, a seasoned executive from the gaming industry, to the position of UK Country Manager.

Peché’s new position calls for him to lead the digital transformation of the UK’s gaming, leisure, and entertainment sectors, as well as oversee commercial efforts there. Previously, he worked at Inspired Gaming as Senior Account Manager for worldwide Sportsbook and Lottery operators before joining OKTO. In the past, he has worked as a top manager for renowned gaming companies including SG Gaming, William Hill, and Gala Coral.

OKTO’s Chief Creative Officer Simon Dorsen said, “We are pleased to welcome Rob to the growing OKTO team at an important time for the brand as we look to build on what was a hugely positive and encouraging first year in the UK market working with partners including Regal, Inspired, Bob Rudd, and MERKUR UK.”

Peché, who has worked in the gaming business in various senior customer-facing capacities for the past 18 years, will contribute to expanding the company’s already dominant position in the adult-gaming-center (AGC), bingo (Bingo), live-betting-office (LBO), and bar (Pub) markets. Rob is a perfect addition to our executive team, which is comprised of people who are both dedicated to and educated about the gaming industry.

Rob Peché elaborated, “I could not pass up the opportunity to join the first firm in Europe to transmit digital payments in and out of gaming machines at a wide scale in a secure and regulated way.

“OKTO is the best and most popular cashless payments app in the industry because of its world-class technology, the fact that it helps people spend their winnings from slot machines on food and drinks inside the venue, and the fact that it makes gambling safer.” I can’t wait to continue the OKTO team’s foundational work and push the company ahead at a rapid clip.
